Today i'm going to share one very delious famous gujrati recipe.......DHOKLA.

Dhokla is very famous Vegetarian gujrati farsan.it is very very delious and tempting in taste.Dhokla is usually serve well with tamarind chutney or mint-coriender chutney..

Quick carrot fingers

Quick and Healthy recipe....

Ingredients:

  • Bread slices - 2
  • Grated Carrot - 1 medium size
  • cheese - as per need
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • chili flakes - 1 1/2 tsp
  • paneer -50 gm (Optional)
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  • Butter - for roast
  • coriander

Method:

  1. Heat Tawa and roast bread slices with butter on slow flame.
  2. In mixing bowl,add grated carrot,salt,black pepper,cheese,paneer,coriander,lemon juice,chili flakes and mix it well.
  3. now spread this mixture on bread slices.
  4. on the top spread some cheese again.
  5. cook this bread until cheese melt.
  6. cut bread into long slice.
  7. serve hot.(note:you can avoid paneer.)

Apple Tea

something different with tea....

Ingredients:

  • Apple - 1 medium finely chopped
  • Regular tea - 1 tbsp (i use red label )
  • sugar - to taste
  • cinnamon powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • mint leaves - 8 to 10
  • ginger - 1 tbsp ( finely chopped)
  • Water - as per our need
Method:
  1. First of all, heat the pan and make regular black tea i.e. boil water ,regular black tea and sugar for 5-8 minutes.our regular tea making process is complete..
  2. now in another pan, boil apple pieces with water until soft.
  3. now add cinnamon powder,sugar and cook for 2 min.
  4. remove flame and add ginger and mint leaves.
  5. On room temperature,grind this mixture.
  6. Assemble this mixture with our regular tea mixture.
  7. strain this mixture and pour in serving glass..
  8. garnish with mint leaves..
Note: you can serve this chilled also...for that you need to refrigerate this mixture....
